Breastfeeding Journey Part 4

Well, I have hit another goal in my breastfeeding journey.
What I should actually say is "WE" have hit another breastfeeding goal.
Rowan turned 9 months old a few weeks ago,
and with that we also hit 9 months of exclusively breastfeeding.
Our journey has been up and down.
But no matter how hard and tiring some days are,
we have come out winning.
My little girl is thriving!

(No matter what you choose,
formula or BF,
as long as your baby is happy,
healthy,
and thriving,
then you are doing just fine.)

I owe achieving my goal to the many breastfeeding Mamas of Instagram.
Seriously, I have found encouragement through them many times.
They have also informed me what they do to increase lactation,
what their struggles have been, and how sometimes they too feel like giving up.
But we lift each other up.
We give each other encouraging words.
We send love.
And we never ever criticize one another.
I love this community so much!
Seriously!
I also have to thank my husband who has helped and encouraged me so much.
He's one amazing guy and I am so very lucky.

To all you breastfeeding Mothers.
Keep doing what you're doing.
No matter how hard it is,
how you may feel your journey is coming to and end,
you too can do this.
And if you choose to formula feed, it's also okay.
You don't owe anyone a reason as to why your baby is drinking formula.
Your baby is being fed.
He's growing.
He's eating.
And that is something to be proud of.
Happy baby = happy home.
