Lovely Month

This past month has been filled with so much joy. Levia has been having a blast. I wish the days could slow down for us, we want to enjoy each other more than ever.

These are some of the moments I enjoyed so much:

Took a day to go antique shopping. During that we came across a wing painting outside, we had to snap a photo of Levia in front of it.

Levia got to enjoy her first coin ride. I can say she was not a fan of it while it was moving though.

We said goodbye to her size 2 shoes and welcomed her new hard sole shoes. We have been holding on to these for months.

We spent an evening fishing. I enjoy these moments a lot.

Yesterday, I took Levia to the little beach that is located right outside of our apartment. She had so much fun. Playing in the sand, splashing in the water, and soaking up a little bit of sun.

13 Months Old

Levia is no longer a baby, but a toddler. Eeeek, I find it so hard to believe that! This past month has gone by so fast. She has accomplished so much that I really could no be anymore happier. This morning she woke up in an amazing mood. She talked her little heart away. I took advantage of that moment to see if she would understand what I was telling her, and she did. She was able to point to her ear, belly button, and feet on command. She signed "milk, eat, and finish" with no problem. I asked her to show me her tongue and she decided to pucker up, smack her lips together and give a kiss instead. It was adorable! To top all of this off, last night Levia decided to let go of furniture and walk to me. That is one big step for her in walking. Practice makes perfect, but I just know she'll be walking like a pro in no time.

DIY Toy Camera

I had been wanting to buy Levia a toy camera for her to play with, but there are so many to choose from that I just could not make up my mind. I have so much cardboard here that I decided to try and make one for her. Of course it was my first time trying to make it so I wasn't sure how it would come out. In the end I am loving everything about it!

One thing I realized is that I should have made the button out of something other than cardboard. Levia loves trying to rip it of, so for now I'm waiting for her to get a little older before I give it to her. She does play with it as long as I supervise her but it's mainly hanging up away from her reach.

I decided to add a little personal touch to the bottom. It's not the prettiest handwriting but overall I'm happy with it. Levia looks great wearing/playing with her new toy!
